Origin Story is a creative studio built around one belief: before a brand can speak to anyone else, it needs to know what it is. We find that — and build everything around it.
HOW WE STARTED
Every studio has an origin story too.
We started because we kept seeing the same problem: businesses with something genuinely worth saying, spending money on design and content that said nothing. Websites that looked fine but felt empty. Logos without a reason. Words that could belong to anyone.
The missing piece was always the story — the specific, honest, human thing that made this business different from every other one on the street. Not the tagline. The truth underneath it.
So we built a studio around finding that truth first. Everything else — the identity, the website, the content, the social presence — flows from it. When you know what you’re saying, it becomes a lot easier to say it well everywhere.

Ajith started Origin Story after a decade working across brand design, web development and content strategy — often noticing that the best-looking work failed when the story behind it was weak.
He believes most branding problems are communication problems in disguise, and solving them starts with asking better questions. He works closely with every client from the first conversation to the final delivery.

FOUNDER & VISUAL DESIGNER
Afzal brings over 9 years of craft across visual effects, branding and editorial design. Based in Chennai, he leads the visual language of every project — from brand identities and print to web design and video production.
His work has earned recognition including the Best Digital Manipulation Award, and his multilingual range (English, Tamil, Hindi, Arabic) gives Origin Story a genuinely cross-cultural creative perspective.
