Anu Rotrico had everything a bridal brand needs except the brand. Eight years of experience. Over 500 brides. A Times Business Award 2023 for Best Bridal Makeup Artist. Celebrity clients. And an audience that could only find her through Instagram and word of mouth.
Brides research the biggest morning of their lives carefully. They search, compare, read and shortlist long before they send a message. Anu needed a home on the web that carried the same calm confidence she brings to a wedding morning, and that turned that research into enquiries.

THE CHALLENGE
Premium work, invisible on Google.
The bridal makeup market in Chennai is crowded and loud. Every artist promises the same things in the same words. Anu’s actual difference, makeup that reveals the bride instead of replacing her, was getting lost in a feed of filters.
There was also a commercial subtlety: Anu quotes packages privately, personally, on WhatsApp. The website had to create desire and trust without publishing a single price, and turn that trust into a conversation rather than a checkout.

OUR APPROACH
We wrote the brand the way a bride experiences it.
Instead of listing services, we told the story of a wedding morning: the getting-ready room, the mirror, the last five minutes before the bride walks out. Anu became “your last bridesmaid”, the one calm, experienced person in the room. Every page was written from the bride’s point of view.
Design followed the same idea. Ivory, cream and gold. Editorial serif typography. Generous space. A site that feels like a wedding album, not a service catalogue.

Ivory, gold and restraint.
Bridal websites usually shout. This one whispers. The palette borrows from wedding silk and morning light: warm ivory grounds, deep charcoal text, and gold used the way jewellery is worn, sparingly and deliberately.
